HOW IT STARTED

Mad Fresh Kitchen started in Tempe, Arizona in 2018 as a small family-run business built around one simple standard: serve food we’d be proud to feed our own family. What began from home grew through word of mouth and ultimately let to opening our own brick-and-mortar kitchen near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in Tempe in 2022.

From the beginning, Mad Fresh has focused on making healthy food taste like food people actually want to eat. Ty’s background in Health & Wellness and Blanca’s culinary approach helped shape a menu centered around premium proteins, organic produce, scratch-made sauces, bold flavor, and absolutely no seed oils.

Today, Mad Fresh Kitchen serves individuals, families, athletes, schools, businesses, and events throughout the Phoenix Valley. Our Tempe kitchen has grown beyond traditional meal prep into same-day protein bowls, corporate catering, school and athlete meal programs, and large-scale event service — while remaining locally owned and family operated.

Mad Fresh has grown largely through referrals, repeat customers, and long-term partnerships. Along the way, the brand earned Best of the Valley recognition in 2023 and 2025 and became a trusted food partner for athletes, schools, companies, teams, and organizations across Arizona.
